GMapCatcher is an offline maps viewer and Google Map downloader. It downloads map tiles from many providers such as: CloudMade, OpenStreetMap, Yahoo Maps, Google Map. GMapCatcher displays them using a custom GUI. Besides, GMapCatcher can get the map even if google changes map’s java scripts and GMapCatcher can run on Linux, Windows and Mac OSX.
How to use GMapCatcher Portable?
- Download and get GMapCatcher_ThinstallSoft.zip and extract it to get GMapCatcher Portable.exe, double click it to finally find the program files.
- Run maps.exe to launch GMapCatcher Portable.
- Run !)Uninstall.bat to delete traces left by GMapCatcher Portable. Be sure to run !)Uninstall.bat as Administrator in Windows Vista or Windows 7. You’d better backup this folder: “%USERPROFILE%\.googlemaps”, copy the path in the Run to locate it.
